I have no idea about a Daniel/Raiford marriage, but have few sources past the Colonial era, so don't follow the Philip Raifords down quite as far as the one you're seeking.

John Turner, was born 2 December 1671 in Northumberland County, Virginia. Two sons were Edward and Fielding Turner

Edward TURNER, of Northumberland County, Virginia, died in 1738. Fielding was guardian to Edward's 4 children in April 1738, one of Edward's sons was named William TURNER. A guardianship record shows Fielding as guardian of William Turner & Edwin Turner, sons of Edward Turner. Fielding was William's guardian as late as 1743 and living in Prince William County, Virginia by then.
"The above young Wm. had a brother named Edwin Turner who migrated to either NC or SC. Here's a copy of their father Edward's will: "Mentions unnamed wife, gives to children William & Edwin his tract of land in Westmoreland Co., to Mary his best bed, etc., to John a gold ring, to John Jones for Elizabeth gold bobs and 80 lbs. The rest of estate divided between children William, Edwin, Mary, John & Elizabeth. States that John may live with Leasure Hall and Elizabeth with John Jones & wife until they are of age. The children may not sell the plantation without the advice and consent of their Uncle William Garner (executor). Witnesses: John Turner, Rebecca R. Garner. Administrator: Fielding Turner.'"[Pam Sulzer, email, 2 August 2014]

Edward TURNER, son of John Turner, was born 14 March 1692/93 in St. Stephens Parish, Northumberland County, Virginia, and died before 10 April 1738. He married Elizabeth Haley about 1710 in St. Mary's County, Maryland. She was born about 1693 in St. Mary's County, Maryland. Their son, William Turner, was born before 1715 in Northumberland County, Virginia. Edward married second Priscilla Garner before 29 March 1715 in St. Stephens Parish, Northumberland County, Virginia. Their children were: John, born 29 Mch 1715; Elizabeth, born 16 Jun 1717; Edward born 9 October 1719; Mary, born after 1723, and William Turner born after 1724. All were born in St. Stephens Parish, Northumberland County, Virginia.
Excerpts from his Will, proved 10 April 1738:
Wife- to have and keep all her goods and chattels that she had when I married her.
Sons William TURNER, and Edward TURNER - ALL my tract of land in Westmoreland County, to be equally divided between them and their heirs.
Daughter Mary TURNER - my BEST bed with bedstead cord and hide, a pair of sheets, a blanket, quilt with boulster and pillows, and an iron spitt.
Rest of estate to be equally divided between my five children William, Edwin, Mary, John and ELIZABETH TURNER., save only a gold ring which I give to my son John TURNER and a pair of gold bobs and eighty pounds of tobacco in John JONES hands, which I give to my daughter Elizabeth TURNER?
If my son John TURNER and daughter Elizabeth TURNER do not want to live with their brothers and sisters, that Leasure Hall take John and John Jones and his wife take Elizabeth.
Sons William, Edwin, and daughter Mary TURNER, to live on the plantation above mentioned, and also my son John and daughter Elizabeth if they think fit. They shall not have the liberty to make any bargains to sell or buy anything without advice and consent of the Uncle William GARNER, and I appoint my friend William GARNER executor. By the above, Fielding Turner had two males named William Turner in his household, from about 1738 to about , his son William and his ward William.

"(A brief search of [Fielding] Turnerís life revealed: Ann (Cox) Boggess was his second of four wives. His first also named Ann, causing some a genealogical problem over off-springs. They making home in Loudoun, formerly Fairfax county. Fielding married his third wife in 1785, so It would appear, Ann died 1785, or before)"

General Notes: Husband - Fielding TURNER

Fielding TURNER had a brother, Edward TURNER, of Northumberland County, Virginia, who died in 1738.
[Edward's son William born then about 1722. RLD]

The History of Truro Parish, page 131, lists Fielding Turner as a voter in the 1744 election of Burgesses in Fairfax County, Virginia.

Fielding Turner of Loudoun County, Virginia lists his son William TURNER, in his Last Will and Testament.

1. "...the group included fellow vestrymen of Truro Parish, and Pohick Church, George Washington - 'Mount Vernon', George Mason - 'Gunston Hall', and Daniel McCarty - 'Cedar Grove'. The last three (each serving longer than Robert as vestrymen) above named were "ordered" in 1773 to: " ....allot the dower of Ann (Cox) Turner [Robert Boggess' widow] wife of Fielding Turner,Gent."

General Notes: Child - William TURNER, Sr.

William TURNER [SR.] was born 6 May 1733 in Prince William (Fairfax) County, Virginia and died 19 September 1802. He was a son of Fielding Turner and Winifred HAWLEY. William received his share of his father's estate as a gift by deed dated 15 Jul 1754. It was approximately 200 acres, later sold to Moses Hopwood. Possibly a wedding present, the land was actually given to him in 1752, but the deed was not acknowledged until 1754. William and Sarah's son, Lewis Ellzey Turner, was born 14 September 1754.
On 5 June 1753 in Truro Parish, Fairfax County, Virginia, William Turner married Sarah Ellzey, daughter of Captain Lewis Ellzey of Loudoun and Fairfax Counties, Virginia. She was born 24 April 1736 in Truro Parish, Prince William (Fairfax) County, Virginia.
Between 1754 and 1775, William and Sarah Ellzey Turner had eight children: Lewis Ellzey, John Wheeler, Nancy Ann, William, Jr., Sarah, Vincent, and Thomasin Ellzey.

The 1782 Census of Fairfax County, Virginia, Tax list of John Gibson lists William Turner, 7 whites, 4 blacks, and Willam Turner, Jr., 3 whites, 13 blacks, bewteen them is Moses Hopwood. William appears to be the son of Fielding Turner, born about 1733. William, Jr., appears to be his son.

William and Sarah's son, William Turner, Jr., was in trouble with the law in or before 1784. The trouble must have been severe, forcing William, Jr., to sell all his slaves, household estate and furniture. etc.

General Notes: Husband - Thomas TURNER

"The closest thing I've seen to a will for William Turner (b. 1733) is a March 1811 Wood Co., WV [Virginia] deed of gift between William and his son Thomasin Ellzey Turner:
Deed of gift for $1 to Thomazin Turner for a tract of land lying in Fairfax Co., VA on Popes Head Creek which tract was bequeathed by Lewis Ellzey to William and Sarah Turner, also negroes Lydia, Sarah, Kersey, Robert, Daniel, Hannah, Jenny & Esther. Also $138.84 due William Turner by Coleman Lewis, also 3 feather beds, furniture, pots and the 1/4 part legacy of Lewis Ellzey's estate which was devised to Sarah Turner. This deed of gift was proved in the courts of July and August 1811.
Son Thomas Turner left Wood Co., WV [Virginia] between 1823 and 1827 when he is found in Washington Co., OH.
Son Thomazin Ellzey Turner left Wood Co. between 1831 and 1838 when he is found in Marion Co., MO.
Other children were living in various other states."
